Mahindra & Mahindra, the leading SUV makers in India, in order to boost the sales of premium and off-road vehicles has introduced a special offer for Bank employees across the country. Under the scheme of “Banker’s Bonanza”, the company is offering benefits up to Rs 25,000 on the Mahindra four wheeler range. The offer is only meant for the bank employees of India.
The offer is presented on first come first served basis and is valid till 31st August 2014. Recently, the manufacturer also offered discounts under the scheme of 'Live It Up In The Rains In A Mahindra’ which expired on June 30, 2014.
Speaking on the launch of the scheme, Arun Malhotra, Chief Sales & Customer Care Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, "Financiers are an integral part of the automotive business model since a majority of vehicle purchases are finance based in India. The introduction of this scheme is our way of acknowledging the support and valuable contribution made by bankers and providing a further fillip to our relationship going forward."
Mahindra model lineup includes the rugged Scorpio, Bolero, XUV500, Thar, Xylo, Quanto, Verito, Verito Vibe and electric vehicle e2o. The company also introduced the limited edition ‘XUV500 Sportz’ in its W8 model with a price tag of Rs 13.68 lakh (Ex-showroom,Mumbai).

In the recent times, the company also recalled the 'Ex' variant of its successful Scorpio SUV. The recall covers 23,519 units of the base model which were manufactured between May 2012 to November 2013. The company recalled the Scorpio variants for rectifying the inconsistent functioning of valve. Last year, the company also recalled 24,695 XUV 500s to replace fluid hose and front power window units of vehicles manufactured in 2011 and 2012.
