Maruti Suzuki is one such brand which is being looked forward by many especially with the new range of vehicles arriving at the 2014 Auto Expo. Maruti Swift in the past has been doing great business for the company, and was also rated as the best hatchback of the segment. Now, the company brings its facelift version at the ongoing and well renowned Auto Expo'14.
The updated model has received LED daytime running lights mounted into the fog lamps, restyled front bumper, and the LED treatment continues to be offered with the roof mounted stop lamp at the rear. The exteriors upgrades also includes 16-inch alloy wheels for top variants, and an addition of new Boost Blue Pearl metallic color painted over its body.
However, the inside the car facelifted Swift features new upholstery for the seats, while rest interiors remain the same. Apart from this, the additional features include Auto-Up one touch function on the driver's side power window, electronically adjustable side mirrors, automatic headlamps and various others. Mechanically, the hatch remains unchanged with the same engine specs- a 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter Multi-Jet engine.
The upgraded version of Swift hatch is made to sustain the challenging market conditions existing in the Indian car market. The facelift will compete against the likes of Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo and Fiat Punto.
