Mercedes-Benz India has launched the updated ML-Class today, now christened the GLE-Class under its new nomenclature. The SUV is be available with a choice of two diesel engines and competes against the likes of recently-updated Volvo XC90, BMW X5 and Audi Q7.
In line with the latest family look of Mercedes cars, the GLE has a strong resemblance to the new GLC and the GLA-Class. It gets a new twin-slatted radiator grille with the three-pointed star emblazoned at the centre and a fresh set of headlamps carrying the familiar LED brow. Even on the inside, there are lots of elements from the German carmaker’s latest generation models like the infotainment system interface, which is similar to the latest C-Class and the COMAND controller that is equipped with a touchpad.
