Mercedes-Benz Reveals Auto Expo Lineup, Will Feature S-Class Cabriolet

Mercedes Benz is enjoying its success in the Indian market. Their formula of expansion in the market has panned off, as the German automaker registered a 32% growth in sales for 2015. This expansion strategy included making 15 launches in one year. Mercedes Benz plans on carrying forward this form in 2016 with 12 new launches. First of these 12 was GLE 450 AMG Coupe which launched in the country on January 12, 2016 with a price tag of Rs. 86.4 lacs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). To further woo the customers, MB will be showcasing their ‘winning’ products in the upcoming Auto Expo.Mercedes-Benz Auto Expo Map

 

The highlight of Mercedes’s stable will be GLC, the India bound S-Class Cabriolet, Mercedes Maybach S 600 Guard and the Mercedes AMG F1 team’s FIA World Championship Winning F1, W06 Hybrid car. Apart from these, other cars from the Indian lineup will also grace the Auto Expo. All of this will be at display at hall number 15 of the Expo Mart. Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India commented: “The Auto Expo is the much awaited platform for manufacturers, automotive enthusiasts and customers and it has been growing in importance with each edition. This year Mercedes-Benz will showcase its range of ‘winning’ products and we are excited to unveil the much awaited GLC and the S-Class Cabriolet. The Mercedes-Benz pavilion will be an amalgamation of innovation in design, vibrant energy and will reflect modern luxury which is core of the brand ethos of the Three Pointed Star. Customers and enthusiasts can expect some real excitement and fascination at the Mercedes-Benz pavilion.”

Mercedes-Benz’s India product portfolio comprises of the locally produced Mercedes Maybach S 500, S-Class, E-Class, C-Class, CLA sedans and the GLA, GLE and the GL Class SUVs. The product portfolio also comprises of Mercedes-AMG G 63, as well as other Mercedes-AMG performance cars like AMG CLA 45, AMG C 63 S, AMG E 63, AMG SLK 55, AMG S 63 Coupe, AMG GL 63, AMG ML 63, AMG S 63, AMG GLA 45, GLE 450 AMG Coupe and AMG GT S. Completely Built imported cars portfolio includes A-Class, B-Class, CLS, SLK, E-Class Cabriolet, S-Class Coupé, and the S 600 Guard.
