The new, India bound Audi Q7 is launched in Malaysia with a price tag of RM 589,900 (Rs. 91.06 lac) for the 3.0 TFSI Quattro trim. Earlier, the SUV was showcased in December 2014, before making its debut at the 2015 NAIAS show in Detroit. The car houses a 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 engine that produces a maximum power of 333 bhp and a peak torque of 440 Nm at 2,900 to 5,300 rpm. The motor comes mated to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission. The new Q7 can reach to a top speed of 250 kmph with an acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in only 6.3 seconds, 1.6 seconds faster than the previous model. New Audi Q7 is expected to launch in India before the end of this year.

Coming to the dimensions, new Q7 is 5,050mm long, 1,970 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2,990mm. Compared to its predecessor, the car is 37 mm shorter, 15 mm less wide and has a 12mm shorter wheelbase. It gets adaptive air suspension, LED headlamps with DRLs, 20-inch 10-spoke rims, heated and auto anti-glare wing mirrors, powered tailgate, park assist with surround view camera, four-zone auto air conditioner, push button start and electric front seats with 4-way lumbar and memory for the driver. The SUV also comes equipped with an infotainment system with features like MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, 8.3-inch rising central display, 3D map display, a touch sensitive panel with handwriting recognition and 10 GB flash memory for music storage.
