BMW that unveiled the upgraded 5-Series at the Geneva Motor Show, earlier this year, has now finally launched the vehicle in India today at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 5-Series which is in its sixth generation has received some very important styling updates and additional features over the outgoing version, making it an even more desirable product.
In terms of exterior updates, the car has received additional contour lines for the surround of the BMW kidney grille, newly designed lower air intakes, front fog lamps with added chrome surrounds, extra crease on rear apron, revised rear lamps and new alloy wheels. And just like the global version, the Indian version too has received the Xenon headlights as standard on all variants, while the Adaptive LED headlights are given as an option for the first time alongside LED fog lamps.
The 5-Series facelift has also received changes inside the cabin like the control display of the iDrive Operating System now has chrome strip border, which has helped the car earn more storage space. So, BMW 5-Series facelift is the combination of new exterior paints colours, light alloys, upholstery colours and interior trim elements.
