Volkswagen is prepped-up to re-launch Beetle in India, the launch is slated this week on 19th. The Luxury hatchback segment has a lot of rivals currently compared to the Beetle's previous stint. The new Beetle will compete with Mini Cooper S and Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione as its formidable rivals along with others like Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 1 Series. Prices are expected to be in the vicinity of Rs. 30 lacs. Let us see what it has to offer.

- New Beetle is powered by Volkswagen’s 1.4-liter TSI - turbocharged gasoline motor coupled to a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission
