To capitalize on the festive mood of the people, Nissan India has silently launched the Sunny XV diesel special edition in the country. The company has also updated its official website, and this model has been priced at Rs. 9.86 lakh, which is around Rs. 56,000 more than the regular XV diesel model. The special edition Sunny gets some additional features, however the specification remains the same.

Earlier this year, the company launched this Special Edition for limited time. This model gets some additional features including premium leather seats, reverse parking sensors, chrome finish exhaust and rear spoiler. However, nothing much has been revealed about the other additions to the car, and we expect it to feature couple of more equipments such as 2-DIN Touch Screen Entertainment Console, bluetooth and others.

Under the hood, the Nissan Sunny XV D Special Edition get the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 86PS and 200Nm of top torque. The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission, which transmits power to front wheels of the car.
