As CarDekho told you earlier that Tata Motors is bringing a power steering equipped variant, 'Nano Twist', of its smallest car, Nano; now it has been confirmed by Tata Motors itself and it will be launched on January 13, 2014 in Mumbai.
Seeing the current miserbale condition of the Indian Auto industry, Tata Motors is planning to launch several new products, and one of them is 'Nano Twist'. Tata Motors, with all guns blazing, will firstly introduce this power steering version of Nano, hoping to revive its glorious run in the Indian auto industry and extract some exceptional sales figures. Tata is banking quite highly on 'Nano Twist', owing to its light and user-friendly steering wheel developed by ZF.
'Nano Twist' could prove quite handy and convenient for female drivers as the power steering would not demand much efforts from them in turning the vehicle in narrow and congested roads. The company hasn't made any changes to the mechanical aspect of this newly introducing variant as it is powered by the same 0.6-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 37.4bhp and a peak torque of 51Nm. It is coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission.
