The newest kid on the sedan block also happens to be one of the least expensive of the lot. Ford Figo Aspire
According to many in our newsroom, the Ford Figo Aspire was the sedan of the year among its contemporaries in 2015. Hyundai Verna
The Korean carmaker staked its claim in this quickly growing segment with an updated version of the Verna last year that boasts of a highly improved suspension package. Other USPs on the Verna include a wide array of powertrain options (both diesel and petrol) and one of the best safety features list, including six airbags. All this, at a starting price of Rs 7.87 lakh.
Honda City
It’s not every day that a car consistently manages to lure Indian customers, that too for close to two decades. One of the largest selling sedans, the City thus earns a special mention on this list. The current generation one casts its spell on buyers through fresh looks, a peppy diesel engine and tech laden interiors. You can make this cult car yours at Rs 8.02 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
