After the revelation of engine specifications, some details of the features offered in the Innova Crysta have become public now, thanks to a few pages of the brochure being leaked in the media.
The Crysta is offering some first-in-class features such as LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control with rear auto AC, and one-touch tumble and space-up rear seats. Some other important features include seven-inch touchscreen audio with navigation, eight-way power adjust driver seat and smart entry with push button start. Interestingly, the car will be drivable in two modes, namely Power and Eco.
On the safety front, the car is equipped with seven Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbags with vehicle stability control and hill-start assist control. Such attributes were enough for the Crysta to score a 4-star rating in the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries) crash test. This is certainly good news since Indian cars have the unfortunate reputation of being unsafe.

The Innova Crysta is all set to launch on 2 May 2016 and the leaked features have further raised our curiosity. Toyota has ensured that the Innova Crysta is an improvement on the Innova in more ways than one. When introduced, the car will compete with Tata’s to-be-launched Hexa, and price will certainly be a major factor in deciding the winner (in terms of sales). If you are planning to buy either of these cars, do read our comparison here.
