The motor extracts a healthy 225 hp at 4,250 rpm and 470 Nm of max torque in between 1750-2500 rpm. The engine feeds power to an 8-speed automatic transmission, power is sent to all four wheels via an AWD system. Compared to the first-gen SUV, the new XC90 is based on Swedish manufacturer’s new SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture), which will also underpin future Volvos.
The new XC90 also debuted Volvo’s new Sensus infotainment system, it offers a breathtaking 12.3-inch central customizable touch screen for it! Decibels are powered by 19-speaker 1400W Bowers & Wilkins audio system (standard on both the trims). It also offers a lot of other standard goodies like four zone climate control with individual louvers for all the seven seats. It also offers a lot of standard safety features like any other Volvo in the country and will be a CBU import.
