VW Polo has always been one of the best selling premium hatchbacks of the segment and has returned good business to the company. But in the recent times with the market instability, the hatch has not been upto the expectations in terms of sales. So, the company decided to bring the facelift model of the same. The next generation Polo is expected to launch by 2015.
Volkswagen Polo facelift has been spied, and it reveals each of the details of the upgraded model. The exteriors received sportier bumper and a revised grille. This makes the premium hatch look more appealing and sporty to create an impression amongst the young buyers. As far as interiors are concerned, there are just mild changes with a new steering wheel, an updated infotainment system and a revised trim and switchgear.
Under the hood info says that the engine could come mated with an eight or nine-speed torque- converter automatic transmission. This eliminates the presence of current seven-speed DSG gearbox as it is found not suitable for the hatchback car like Polo, rather it suits best for the higher segment models.
