Volkswagen Vento Facelift Launched: All-You-Need-to-Know-About

This week we came across another two launches in the auto sector. Volkswagen launched facelift of Vento at INR at 7.70 lacs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The updated sedan now see aggressive changes at the outside with new grille design, revamped bumper, new alloys and a lot of chrome touches across the exteriors. Mercedes also updated their highest selling sedan E-Class that now comes at the starting price tag of INR 48.50 lacs. The sedan now offers New Telematics with Navi ready function and reverse camera to the customers. Volkswagen has launched the 2015 Vento facelift at Rs. 7.70 Lac (Ex-Showroom Mumbai) and 7.85 Lac (Ex-Showroom New Delhi). This is the second update Volkswagen has given to the Vento within a year of time. 2015 Volkswagen Vento Takes on the Competition

With the launch of facelifted Vento, the German car manufacturer has once again freshened its presence in the Indian C-segment scenario. The same segment is home to one of the most successful cars in the country that include Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Hyundai Verna 4S. While a few others like the Skoda Rapid, Nissan Sunny and Ford Fiesta will also be faired against this update of Vento. The E-Class is the highest selling luxury sedan in India and also the highest selling product in Mercedes-Benz India’s portfolio in India, with over 30,000 units on Indian roads. The new E-Class now features additional equipment to take on the likes of the Audi A6 and the BMW 5-Series. Honda Confirms Jazz Launch on 8th July, Dealers Start Advance Booking at Rs 21,000

Honda dealers have started taking advance booking for company's upcoming premium hatch, Jazz. The car can now be booked at an upfront payment of Rs 21,000. Also, Honda has now officially announced that they will launch the car on 8th July. The Jazz now in its third generation, is getting a fuel efficient 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine along with the potent 1.2-litre petrol mill. Read More:

Toyota Details Engines of Next-gen Fortuner and Innova

Toyota has shed more details on the new GD Series of turbo diesel engines which will pull the next-generation Innova and Fortuner. The engines were revealed in May at the 2015 36th International Vienna Motor Symposium in Austria. The new GD Series consist of two oil burners just the KD Series (current Innova and Fortuner features KD Series diesel engines) which it will be replacing worldwide. The new family has 2.8-liter and 2.4-liter turbocharged intercooled four-cylinder motors; known by the codes of 1GD-FTV and 2GD-FTV, respectively. The former engine will replace the 3.0-liter while the latter will replace the 2.5-liter diesel ones. Read More:
