Aban Offshore surged 13.59% at Rs 247.90. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 27.57 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.97 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Himachal Futuristic Communications spurted 8.4% at Rs 35.50. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 55.34 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 39.86 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Sterlite Technologies jumped 7.85% at Rs 362.60. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 7.39 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.17 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Indo Count Industries gained 6.7% at Rs 133.80. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 8.13 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.55 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Welspun India rose 6.47% at Rs 78.20. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 85.06 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.75 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
