Adani Transmission Ltd gained 5% today to trade at Rs 1300. The S&P BSE Utilities index is up 1.16% to quote at 2510.33. The index is up 1.88 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Adani Power Ltd increased 4.98% and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd added 4.96% on the day. The S&P BSE Utilities index went up 50.02 % over last one year compared to the 44.43% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
