Adani Transmission slumps on profit taking

Adani Transmission declined 4.44% to Rs 191.35 at 9:51 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after recent gains.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 399.14 points or 1.21% at 32,607.13.

On the BSE, 25,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 98,677 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 196.45 and a low of Rs 189.95 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 252 on 18 January 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 62 on 29 March 2017.

 

The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 1099.81 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Shares of Adani Transmission had rallied 7.57% in the previous three trading sessions to settle at Rs 200.25 yesterday, 22 March 2018, from its close of Rs 186.15 on 19 March 2018.

On a consolidated basis, Adani Transmission's net profit surged 748% to Rs 841.88 crore on 144.4% growth in net sales to Rs 1782.29 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.

Adani Transmission is the transmission business arm of the Indian business conglomerate - Adani Group.
