Ahluwalia Contracts bags new orders worth Rs 661 cr

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) on Monday, 9 March 2020, said it secured new projects worth of Rs 661 crore.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has secured new orders aggregating to about Rs 129 crore for electrical works of medical college at Haryana awarded from Haryana PWD (Buildings & Roads). The company won another work order of Rs 532 crore for construction of steel and structure non-resident building using pre-engineers construction technology including development of area and all services on EPC basis at New Delhi, awarded by CPWD, New Delhi.

The total order inflow during the FY2019-20 stands at Rs 3900.96 crore, the company said during trading hours on Monday (9 March).

 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India)'s consolidated net profit slipped 24% to Rs 20.47 crore on a 4.7% rise in net sales to Rs 438.32 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India)'s project portfolio encompasses projects across residential and commercial complexes, hotels, institutional buildings, hospitals and corporate offices, information technology (IT) parks and industrial complexes.

Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts (India) fell 1.94% to Rs 321. The stock traded in the range of Rs 320.25 to Rs 331 so far.
