Among the other constituents of the index, Hindustan Zinc Ltd increased 0.62% and Jindal Steel & Power Ltd added 0.3% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 10.37 % over last one year compared to the 3.08% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
