Apollo Tyres leads gainers in 'A' group

Crompton Greaves, IRB Infrastructure Developers, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Unitech are among the other gainers.

Apollo Tyres jumped 7.49% to Rs 173. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 174.90 in intraday today, 17 April 2014 .

Engineering company Crompton Greaves galloped 6.57% to Rs 188.85. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 191.70 in intraday today, 17 April 2014.

IRB Infrastructure Developers spurted 6.07% to Rs 117.10. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

State-run Oriental Bank of Commerce climbed 5.96% to Rs 228.55. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

 

Real estate developer Unitech rose 5.63% to Rs 16.52. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
