Arshiya rose 2.22% to Rs 55.20 at 14:53 IST on BSE after the company said it has allotted 45 lakh equity shares of the company on preferential allotment basis to promoter Archana Mittal pursuant to corporate debt restructuring scheme.
The announcement was made during market hours today, 21 April 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 131.74 points or 0.47% at 27,754.47.
On BSE, so far 3.19 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 1.49 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 58.50 so far during the day, which is a 52-week high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 51.10 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 15.25 on 17 December 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 20 April 2015, surging 34.83% compared with Sensex's 1.33% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, galloping 113.86% as against Sensex's 3.12% fall.
