Ashok Leyland Ltd gained 1.59% today to trade at Rs 95.9. The S&P BSE Auto index is up 0.36% to quote at 20149.53. The index is up 0.95 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Motors Ltd increased 1.09% and Eicher Motors Ltd added 0.65% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 23.6 % over last one year compared to the 5.06% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
