From 07 December 2015
Ashok Leyland announced that due to heavy rains/floods in Chennai, the production activity was stopped at Company's Ennore manufacturing Unit, near Chennai, during the following period:01 December 2015 - Night shift only.
02 December 2015 to 05 December 2015 - All 3 shifts
The Company has since started its regular operations from 07 December 2015 onwards.
The Company will be able to assess the insurance losses in due course, upon assessment done by the insurance Company.
