Asian Paints drops after announcing Q3 results

Asian Paints was down 1.15% to Rs 1,163.15 at 9:18 IST on BSE after the company reported Q3 December 2017 results after market hours yesterday, 22 January 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 143.86 points or 0.4% at 35,941.87.

On the BSE, 3,692 shares were traded on the counter so far as against average daily volumes of 55,786 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1,178 and a low of Rs 1,160 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 1,261.25 on 14 September 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 945 on 20 January 2017.

 

The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 95.92 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.

Asian Paints' consolidated net profit rose 15.9% to Rs 567.21 crore on 10.5% growth in net sales to Rs 4260.52 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
