Atlanta slumps after auditor resigns

Atlanta hit a lower circuit limit of 20% at Rs 51.10 at 13:50 IST on BSE after Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP quit as auditor of the company.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 30 May 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 186.03 points, or 0.53% to 35,092.14.

On the BSE, 5.03 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 41,000 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 55.45 and a low of Rs 51.10 so far during the day.

The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 131.90 on 15 January 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 51.10 on 31 May 2018.

 

Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP, vide its letter dated 29 May 2018, has resigned from its position as the statutory auditors of Atlanta for FY 2017-2018 with immediate effect, Atlanta said in a statement.

Net profit of Atlanta declined 73.05% to Rs 5.64 crore on 31.20% decline in net sales to Rs 29.42 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.

Atlanta is engaged in the business of infrastructure development.
