Atlas Cycles (Haryana) dropped 2.55% to Rs 195 at 13:43 IST on BSE after the company said that its board of directors decided to suspend the manufacturing activity at Sonepat unit of the company.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 27 February 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 229.96 points, or 0.67% at 34,116.43. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 67.81 points, or 0.37% at 18,022.32, outperforming the Sensex.
On the BSE, 1,134 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5,583 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 198.80 and a low of Rs 193 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 248 on 2 November 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 135 on 2 June 2017.
Atlas Cycles (Haryana) said that its board of directors decided to suspend the manufacturing activity at Sonepat unit of the company with immediate effect and the board may in future after re-assessing the situation, may direct for closure of the said unit or otherwise, as it deems fit.
Atlas Cycles (Haryana) is a manufacturer of bicycles. The company manufactures components of bicycles and steel tubes.
