Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 55.33 points, or 0.16% to 33,892.07.Atul surged 7.53% at Rs 2,818. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 12,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1,168 shares in the past two weeks.
Future Consumer spurted 6.65% at Rs 72.15. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 23.07 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 17.75 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Unitech jumped 5.49% at Rs 7.11. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 95.19 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.14 crore shares in the past two weeks.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals climbed 5.20% at Rs 273.35. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 51,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.02 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Indiabulls Real Estate rose 4.95% at Rs 216.10. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 10.65 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.88 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
