Most of ASX sectors inclined, with financials and materials being notable gainers on news Australia could be exempt from new US trade tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 32 points, or 0.6%, to 5996 while the All Ordinaries index moved up 0.5%, or 32 points, at 6101.
