Australian share market finished higher for a fifth straight session on Tuesday, 27 February 2018, following a strong lead from Wall Street overnight, with shares of major banks and the big miners being notable gainers. However, market gains capped as caution crept in ahead of US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's highly anticipated congressional testimony later in the day. The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 14.70 points, or 0.24%, to 6056.90 while the All Ordinaries advanced 13.20 points, or 0.21%, to 6159.30.
