Australian share market declined on Tuesday, 28 June 2016, as Britain's shock vote to leave the European Union continued to weigh down investors sentiments. At close of trade, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index added 24 points, or 0.47%, to 5137.20. The broader All Ordinaries climbed up 23.40 points, or 0.45%, to 5216.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Australia Stock Exchange by 653 to 390 and 379 ended unchanged. The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 2.97% to 22.156.
