Among ASX sectors, financial, material, and resources being notable gains, offsetting losses elsewhere. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 was 0.6% higher at 6,050.2 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 0.6% at 6,136.7 points.Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 693 to 554 and 404 ended unchanged.The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 6.74% to 11.333.
