Australia stock market closed session higher on Friday, 27 April 2018, on the back of positive lead from Wall Street overnight on upbeat corporate earnings results and a pullback by U.S. Treasury yields. Most of ASX sectors inclined, with shares of healthcare and energy issues being notable gainers, offsetting weakness in banking stocks. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 0.72% higher at 5,953.6 points on Friday, while the broader All Ordinaries was 0.66% up at 6,042.9 points.Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 685 to 543 and 390 ended unchanged.The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 4.21% to 11.860.
