The Australian share market finished higher for the first time in three consecutive sessions on Tuesday, 13 May 2014, on tracking strong lead form equity markets in the United States overnight. A positive reception to moves by Chinese policymakers to accelerate planned financial system reforms also supported shares, particularly the miners. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 and the broader All Ordinaries each gained by 0.9%% to 5498.20 and 5475.40, respectively.
