The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 Index declined 43.80 points, or 0.75%, to 5834.10, while the broader All Ordinaries Index decreased 43 points, or 0.73%, to 5808.50. Market turnover was relatively healthy, with 1.78 billion shares changing hands worth of A$4.21 billion.
