Among the ASX industry category, notable losers comprised industrials, telecom, property trusts, realty, and financials issues, while materials and energy stocks clawed back some of yesterday's losses. At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index ended 28.10 points, or 0.55%, down at 5080.50 points.
