Bajaj Electricals in focus after winning new orders

Bajaj Electricals announced after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014, that the engineering & project business unit of the company has bagged eight new orders for rural electrification work in Jabalpur District from Madhya Pradesh Purva Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company and in Bhopal District from Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Company under Rajiv Gandhi Gram Vikas Yojana, aggregating to Rs 518.46 crore.

Yes Bank will be watched after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) notified that the foreign shareholding through Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Registered Foreign Portfolios Investors (RFPIs)/Non Resident Indian (NRI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)/American Depository Receipt (ADR)/Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) in Yes Bank has reached the trigger limit. Therefore, further purchases of equity shares of this bank would be allowed only after obtaining prior approval of RBI.

 

IDFC after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014 said that the Capital Raise Committee of the board of directors of the company by a resolution dated Friday, 12 September 2014, fixed the issue closing date for the qualified institutions placement as being 12 September 2014. The Committee has also passed necessary resolutions approving the issuance of 7.30 crore equity shares at a price of Rs 137 per equity share (including a premium of Rs 127 per equity share), aggregating to Rs 1000.10 crore, to qualified institutional buyers, pursuant to Chapter VIII of the SEBI ICDR Regulations and that, pursuant to shareholders approval received on 29 July 2014 permitting a discount to the floor price, the issue price shall be fixed at a price of Rs 137 per equity share. Further, the Committee has also passed necessary resolutions and approving the placement document in this regard, IDFC said.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014 said that at the hearing held on 12 September 2014, the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, has approved the scheme of arrangement between Diligent Media Corporation (DMCL) and the company and their respective shareholders and creditors, for demerger of Media Business Undertaking of DMCL vesting with the company with effect from 31 March 2014 (appointed date).

Fortis Healthcare announced after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014, that the board of Fortis Healthcare Singapore Pte., which is a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare International Pte., one of the step down subsidiaries based out of Singapore, has decided to divest 100% shareholding in RadLink-Asia Pte and its subsidiaries "RadLink", Singapore, to Medi-Rad Associates (Medi-Rad), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of IHH Healthcare Berhad, for SGD 137 million. RadLink is engaged in the provision of healthcare services including the provision of outpatient diagnostic and molecular imaging services in Singapore. The offer price is reflective of the value and efficiencies added by the Fortis group. The deal will be successfully closed following the necessary statutory and regulatory approvals as per local requirements.

Gujarat NRE Coke after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014 said that the Management Committee of the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on 12 September 2014, inter alia, approved the allotment of 29.43 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 1.01 per equity share consequent upon the option exercised by ICICI Bank to convert its Funded Interest term loan (FITL) into equity shares of the company under CDR Package in accordance with the resolution passed by the shareholders through postal ballot.

ICVL Chemicals on Saturday, 13 September 2014 said that its board of directors at a meeting held on Friday, 12 September 2014, approved the allotment of equity shares on preferential basis, subject to the ratification of complete list of allottees along with the names of ultimate beneficial owners representing Body Corporates and HUFs, in the ensuing general meeting, before seeking listing of said shares at Bombay Stock Exchange.

TRF after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014 announced receipt of order worth Rs 353.67 crore from BHEL, Bangalore for design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning for conveying and crushing system with associated equipment for ore, flux, coal & coke handing system of 3.0 MTPY integrated Steel Plant of NMDC, Nagarnar, Chhatisgarh.

Info Edge (India) after market hours on Friday, 12 September 2014 said that in respect of the Issue, the QIP Committee has, at its meeting held on Friday, 12 September 2014, approved the issue and allotment of 1.01 crore equity shares to eligible QIBs at a price of Rs 740 per equity share, including a premium of Rs 730 per equity share, aggregating to Rs 750 crore under the issue.
