Bajaj Finserv rose 3.62% to Rs 1,063.35 at 11:02 IST on BSE on bargain hunting after the stock fell 6.79% in the preceding five trading sessions to Rs 1,026.25 on 16 September 2014, from a recent high of Rs 1,101 on 9 September 2014.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 141.36 points, or 0.53%, to 26,633.87.
On BSE, so far 6,943 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 37,984 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 1,069.90 and a low of Rs 1,031.30 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1,140 on 3 September 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 571 on 17 September 2013.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 16 September 2014, rising 9.69% compared with 1.49% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 12.16% as against Sensex's 5.17% rise.
