Balkrishna Inds slips after 10-day 27.1% rally

Balkrishna Industries fell 2.61% to Rs 746.95 at 15:16 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after recent sharp rally.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 106.83 points or 0.37% at 28,692.86.

On BSE, so far 37,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 40,907 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 774.60 and a low of Rs 731 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 480.10 on 15 April 2014. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 855 on 12 November 2014.

 

Shares of Balkrishna Industries had rallied 27.19% in prior ten trading sessions to settle at Rs 767 yesterday, 15 April 2015, from its recent low of Rs 603 on 27 March 2015.

Balkrishna Industries' net profit rose 4.9% to Rs 129.90 crore on 9.5% growth in net sales to Rs 949.44 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.
