Bharat Electronics leads gainers in 'A' group

Max India, UPL, Colgate-Palmolive (India) and IndusInd Bank are among the other gainers.

State-run defense electronics equipment maker Bharat Electronics jumped 7.73% to Rs 1,961.35. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,989.70 in intraday today, 19 June 2014.

Diversified firm Max India galloped 4.55% to Rs 310.15. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Agrochemicals maker UPL spurted 3.37% to Rs 323.30. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Oral and dental hygiene products maker Colgate-Palmolive (India) climbed 3.26% to Rs 1575. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1,584.80 in intraday today, 19 June 2014.

 

Private sector bank IndusInd Bank rose 2.96% to Rs 557.30. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
