Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd rose 3.88% today to trade at Rs 294.25. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index is up 1.85% to quote at 13586.16. The index is down 8.73 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd increased 3.25% and Indraprastha Gas Ltd added 2.65% on the day. The S&P BSE Oil&Gas index went down 17.91 % over last one year compared to the 3.39% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
