Bharti Airtel fell 1.60% to Rs 316.70 at 13:41 IST on BSE on profit booking after the stock rose 10.09% in the preceding 10 trading sessions to Rs 321.85 on 3 April 2014, from a recent low of Rs 292.35 on 21 March 2014.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 101.81 points, or 0.45%, to 22,407.26.
On BSE, so far 67,000 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 3.17 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 322 and a low of Rs 316.10 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 373.50 on 1 November 2013. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 266.95 on 5 April 2013.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 April 2014, rising 13.43% compared with the Sensex's 6.78% rise. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 0.61% as against Sensex's 7.96% rise.
