Bhel, Tata Motors in focus ahead of Q4 results

Bharat Heavy Electricals (Bhel), Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra declare their Q4 results today, 26 May 2015.

Tech Mahindra announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015, that the board at its meeting to be held today, 26 May 2015, would also consider a scheme of amalgamation of Tech Mahindra BPO and New vC Services with Tech Mahindra.

GAIL (India) announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015, that as a first step to usher in commencement of project work on the first phase of Jagdishpur-Haldia Pipeline, Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas inaugurated the project office in Patna yesterday, 25 May 2015, in presence of Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and GAIL Chairman and Managing Director B C Tripathi, Director (Projects) Ashutosh Karnatak.

 

Jagdishpur-Haldia Pipeline has been heralded onto the national agenda as part of Government of India's vision of doubling the Natural Gas Pipeline network to over 30,000 km in next five years. Aptly termed, "Urfa Ganga" for Eastern India, this pipeline paves way for maiden entry of natural gas supplies into Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The construction office will serve as a nodal centre to facilitate the company's construction activities for Jagdishpur- Haldia Pipeline.

The Jagdishpur-Haldia natural gas pipeline will serve as the 'Energy Highway' to carry the environment-friendly fuel to four states i.e. Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Presently, GAIL is taking up the first phase of this Pipeline which involves laying of approximately 750 km of Pipeline at an estimated expenditure of Rs. 3957 crore. The capacity of Phase-I Pipeline is 7.4 MMSCMD and that of entire Jagdishpur - Haldia Pipeline will be 16 MMSCMD.

While supplying gas to anchor load customers like Gorakhpur & Barauni Fertilizer Plants and Barauni Refinery, the first phase of the Pipeline will also cater to domestic needs through CGD development in cities like Varanasi and Patna when the authorizations for the same are accorded by Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB). 413 km of pipeline will be laid in Bihar covering 9 districts (Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nalanda, Patna, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai and Begusarai) in first phase and additional 200 km of Pipeline covering four more districts (Chappra, Siwan, Gopalganj and West Champaran) will be laid in subsequent phases.

Shares of PNC Infratech will debut on the bourses today, 26 May 2015. The company had issued shares at Rs 378 per share in the recently concluded initial public offer (IPO). The IPO had received bids for a total of 1.41 crore shares compared with up to 90.60 lakh equity shares on offer, as per data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) website. The IPO was subscribed 1.56 times.

GMR Infrastructure said that pursuant to the definitive agreement executed on 24 March 2015 and completion of all conditions precedent, GMR Airports (GAL), a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure, on 25 May 2015 has acquired 24.50 crore shares, representing 10% equity stake in Delhi International Airport (DIAL) from Malaysia Airports (Mauritius) (MAMPL) for a revised consideration of $80 million in line with the terms of the definitive agreements. DIAL is a special purpose vehicle formed to carry out development, operation and management of IGI airport, Delhi. With the acquisition of stake from MAMPL, GAL equity stake in DIAL has increased to 64%.

VRL Logistics' net profit jumped 130.6% to Rs 19.37 crore on 9.1% increase in total income to Rs 403.20 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.

Honeywell Automation's net profit dropped 72.2% to Rs 7.11 crore on 7.1% increase in total income to Rs 440.24 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2015 over the quarter ended 31 March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.

Essar Oil's net profit fell 45.8% to Rs 546 crore on 37.6% fall in total income to Rs 16102 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.

HeidelbergCement India's net profit dropped 82.9% to Rs 8.16 crore on 11.9% fall in total income to Rs 410.20 crore in Q1 March 2015 over Q1 March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.

NIIT informed about the order passed by the High Court of Delhi granting its sanction to the Scheme of Arrangement between NIIT, Evolv Services, Scantech Evaluation Services, NIIT Online Learning and Hole-In-The-Wall Education. Further, the company has informed that the said order has been filed with the concerned Registrar of Companies on 23 May 2015 and accordingly the scheme has become effective from that date. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.

Future Retail's net profit rose 536.42% to Rs 10.31 crore on 18.28% increase in total income to Rs 2,779.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 over the quarter ended March 2014. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.
