Biocon standalone net profit declines 64.72% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 3.48% to Rs 648.10 crore

Net profit of Biocon declined 64.72% to Rs 71.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 203.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 3.48% to Rs 648.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 626.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 54.07% to Rs 238.50 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 519.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 6.52% to Rs 2419.20 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 2587.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
