At meeting held on 28 November 2018
The Board of Mahanagar Gas at its meeting held on 28 November 2018 has approved the appointment of Bhuwan Chandra Tripathi, Chairman and Managing Director, GAIL as an Additional Director (Non-Executive & Non Independent) and Chairman of the Company effective from 29 November 2018. Consequently, Akhil Mehrotra shall cease to be Chairman of MGL effective from the close of business hours of 28 November 2018. However, he will continue to act as Non-Executive Director of the Company.The Board approved the resignation of Ashu Shinghal, GAIL Nominee, Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company due to official exigencies, with effect from close of business hours of 28 November 2018.
The Board approved the resignation of Goutam Ghosh, Whole Time Director (designated as Technical Director) of the Company on account of withdrawal of nomination by BGAPH with effect from close of business hours on 28 November 2018.
