The Board of Narayana Hrudayalaya at its meeting held on 08 November 2019 has approved closure of operations of Whitefield unit of the Company.NH Whitefield hospital was started in the year 2013 with a built-up area of approx. 1.1 lac sq. ft. with 91 operational beds with a plan to expand the capacity in phases to make it a sustainable and viable unit. The unit was positioned for upmarket segment with day-care and short-stay specialties, except Cardiac care and Oncology. However, the unit was not able to scale due to various reasons including the failure of the Lessor to provide additional infrastructure that is compliant with all regulatory norms.
