Further, the Company had applied to the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, for continuation of imposition of Anti-dumping duty and the DGTR vide notification issued on 13 May 2022 had recommended to impose ADD for a further period of 2 years. However, the Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide their office memorandum dated 17 August 2022 conveyed that they have not accepted the recommendations of DGTR. This means that the imposition of ADD notified on 18 August 2017 has lapsed at the end of its period.
