Britannia Inds jumps over 12% in four sessions

Britannia Industries rose 6.02% to Rs 2,684 on BSE, extending recent gains on strong buying support.

Shares of Britannia Industries have risen 12.59% in four trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 2,684, from a recent closing low of Rs 2,383.70 on 21 August 2019.

On BSE, 53,000 shares were traded in Britannia Industries counter, compared to a 2-week average of 44,000 shares. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 2,722.10 and an intraday low of Rs 2,534.70.

It hit a 52-week high of Rs 3,430 on 29 August 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 2,302 on 21 August 2019.

 

Britannia Industries is a food company, which is engaged in the manufacture of biscuits, cakes and rusks. The firm operates through the foods segment, which comprises of bakery and dairy products.
