Australian share market finished the session higher on Thursday, 22 September 2016, after the US central bank scaled back its outlook for rate rises over the coming years. Most of ASX industry group advanced, with bullion, mining, energy blue-chip stocks being major gainer. At close of trade, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 36 points, or 0.68%, to 5,339.60, while the broader All Ordinaries index has gained 32.10 points, or 0.59%, to 5,429.40.
