Amendments will usher in much needed further reforms in the power sector
The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister approved the various amendments to the Electricity Act, 2003 as per the proposed Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2014. The amendments will usher in much needed further reforms in the power sector.
