Support amount would help AP to bridge resource gap of financial year 2014-15
In pursuance to Section 46(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act 2014. The Ministry of Finance, Government of India has decided to provide financial support of Rs 2303 crore to Government of Andhra Pradesh to bridge the resource gap of the Financial Year 2014-15.Ministry of Finance had earlier released an amount of Rs 500 crore as an adhoc grant to bridge the resource gap. Now, an additional/balance amount of Rs 1803 crore has been released for this purpose on 31 March 2015.
